Announcing the Top 30 World Class US Bartenders
Bartenders nationwide are vying to become the 2024 World Class US Bartender of the Year for the opportunity to compete at the World Class Global Finals! The World Class judging panel narrowed hundreds of applications down to The Top 100 after carefully evaluating each entry.
The Top 100 bartenders were tasked with creating their own take on a Masterful Menu using resources from Diageo Bar Academy. For this challenge they had to create a cohesive four-drink menu of signature cocktails for an occasion of their choosing. One of the cocktails of their choosing from their menu was recreated, blind-tasted, and scored by our panel of esteemed judges to narrow it down to the final Top 30.

|
The Top 30 competitors will be tasked with, among other skills:
- Creativity in developing a homemade ingredient to highlight the flavor profile of a DIAGEO Reserve Spirit
- Ability to draw inspiration from their own experiences to influence a cocktail creation using storytelling to enhance their presentation of their serve
- How well they can create quality serves – quickly
The Top 30 (ten finalists per region) will advance to the Nationals Finals in Denver, CO on June 1-4, 2024. Only ONE bartender will advance to the World Class Global Finals in Shanghai – the 2024 World Class US Bartender of the Year!
