The United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG) today announces that Kim Haasarud will step down from her role as president of the Guild after 17 months, and remain an active Director on the board. @T. Cole Newton, the organization’s current Executive Vice President and a long-time member of the Guild’s Board of Directors will assume responsibility as President and @Robert Dagostino will assume responsibility as Vice President.
Kim is such a credit to our industry and to our organization. She’s served on the boards of both the USBG and the USBG National Charity Foundation and through the Foundation’s weekly Instagram Live show, The Foundation Weekly, she became the face of the USBG National Charity Foundation, keeping our industry informed as we distributed more than $10 million in emergency grants to bartenders affected by the Pandemic. Kim will continue to be invaluable as a member of the USBG Board of Directors -- A board fortunate to have a stable of talent able to tap leaders like Cole as the Guild's new president and Bobby Dagostino as the vice president.
We will be chatting about the transition with both Kim and Cole during the USBG Weekly broadcast on Instagram Live on Wednesday, May 11. Please join us!
