The United States Bartenders’ Guild is excited to announce a new partnership with Apprentice.Bar, which administers the national Bartender Apprenticeship Program. The year-round program aims to further comprehensive educational opportunities for aspiring bartenders, and endeavors to build a community of hospitality leaders who are passionate about educating the next generation of bartenders.
Said Genevieve Porter, USBG’s Associate Director of Administration & Strategic Initiatives, “The USBG is thrilled to partner with Apprentice.Bar to further our aligned missions to build community, foster collaboration, and elevate the bar industry, all for the benefit of the hospitality community as a whole.”
Founder & Executive Director Peter Clayton has trained thousands of Bartenders throughout his career and seeks to expand these efforts through the launch of The National Bartender Apprenticeship Program.
“The industry is telling us that there is a need to upskill bartenders across the US,” he said. This partnership will help open up the industry to newcomers by organizing a pathway to education opportunities for our community. We are proud to partner with the USBG to expand our reach and usher in a new generation of hospitality professionals.”
